Zoo Atlanta

Yesterday, well now Tuesday, I called out sick from work because I wanted to go to the zoo.

I did very much enjoy my day out from work, and my wonderful day at Zoo Atlanta. I throughly enjoyed the Zebra, Kangaroos, Gorillaz, and Panda Bears the most. I am going to post a few pictures now that I took using my cell phone, though we have two one-use cameras that are full of pictures. I think I might join one of those slide show websites like Flickr, or something once all of those pictures are done developing.

I do love all things oriental, and Pandas are a classic icon in traditional Chinese lore for luck. For a while I had a great idea of using Bambo as a border for my room, I love how it feels, how it looks, and how delicate looking the leaves look. Apparently though all panda's can think is how freaking good it is, hehe.

This was the biggest turtle I'd ever seen in my whole life. The best part about it wasn't how huge it was, but how it had a bowel movement at the exact time we approached. Was so great to be greeted by his greasy fart! One of the children at the Zoo bursted out laughing and his mother said "Oh god thats so disgusting!". I couldn't help but laugh and then sigh as I knew this would be a great topic for my brothers to have for a long time.

I LOVE kangaroos. This one was flashing us casually as we passed by.
