When you see this masterpiece of art at a museum and your just stopped by it's subtleties....You try with one word to express your emotions, but your so caught up in the feeling that you can not.
Then in even years later when you think about the work of art, in all its glory and in the flesh, you want to cry because it was so perfect that you couldn't even find a word for it in the English language to describe it. That frustration, that almost pain, that brings you to tears because your can't express yourself. A thing that all humans feel a great need to do. That cripples you to the point of being brought to tears. It's hard to imagine what life would be like, if all we could do is just stand their expressionless. Emotionless and yet have so much inside of us that we are just brought to tears because we can't express it.
That utter loss of self expression for that single moment, it is very scary. Yet it's the most amazing feeling, that I have ever felt in my entire life. There needs to be a word for that, one with more feeling then just expressionless.Because it's more like a combination of being expressionless and in awe....Clarity actually comes closer to explaining that feeling than anything else I've said does. Because you come to this realization that life is so much more then what you take it for on a daily basis.Yet, it's so hard to really change, to accept what you learned in that moment and take it with you. Because if you ran around being nostalgic and a perfect human being you wouldn't really be living. Taking that lesson with you, a lesson that you learned from art. If you could actually carry the emotions and nostalgia with you every moment of your life, then it would be a paradox. Humans just can't do it, it's a paradox or maybe contradiction would be a better word.
Humans just simply can't take everything in their life to be as meaningful as it really is. It just isn't in our nature. No matter how much we all know it's the RIGHT thing to do. You have to survive, and go on living each day, taking things for granted. If you don't then your better then the rest of us, yet your not really living. Your so caught up, in the singular moments, and living them one at a time and cherishing them that you aren't taking care of the things that society has made important. In a perfect world, one where coincidently my word I search for exists, society and normal human nature wouldn't hold any constraints. Greed, Health, Ethics, Philosophy, Art, Science, they all really just get in the way of being this way. Yet without them we can't atleast glimpse at what it could be like to live in a world where we can just cherish every single moment, and every single miracle that is our pathetic existence in this random universe.
